One of my favorites for lunch at least once a week. They offer a very good chef's salad (with turkey and/or ham) which also includes a choice of fresh-baked cookie. Eat it there or take it to go, a very good lunch-time value for $8.01.

I love Kris and Sams assortment of sweet treats. There's so many to choose from. The chocolate covered strawberries are something we stop by for regularly. The strawberries are always large and sweet. Great customer service also.

Absolutely delicious treats! We tried pecan shortbreads, strawberry shortbreads, peanut butter cookies, cookies with icing, cake bites - so yummy and homemade. In my opinion this place served up treats you'd expect from a grandmother's kitchen, and that was exactly what I was in the mood to have for lunch. Too bad the parking seems a bit too tricky for this traffic averse driver to attempt for lunch each day - I'd love to try the boxed lunches!

I have been to Kris and Sam's numerous times since my original review, and they always aim to please. I typically get a sandwich combo (turkey or BLT) or daily special (Tuesday they offer a Roasted Chicken Breast lunch special, while on Thursdays they offer an Enchilada lunch special.) The food is always good, but the cookies are amazing! At least, the shortbread cookies are amazing (I am not sure I have even tried the others!) They are the BEST shortbread cookies I have ever tasted. They make numerous flavors, such as pecan shortbread, chocolate almond shortbread, lemon shortbread, peanut butter shortbread, kiss shortbread, and most recently, strawberry shortbread. They are huge, dense, and delicious! All are tasty, but I am partial to the pecan shortbread. If shortbread isn't your thing, the offer sugar cookies, brownies, no-bake cookies, oatmeal cookies, and a variety of others.
